Grab your family and head out to Wellington Point Reserve for swimming, walking from the mainland across the sand bar to King Island at low tide, a picnic, the playground (shaded by Moreton Bay Fig Trees), launching your boat, lunch or simply sitting eating an ice-cream watching the water. For the more energetic people there’s wind surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, boating and coastal fishing available on the Wellington Point peninsula.

Schools: Wellington Point State School and Wellington Point State High School serve this area, which is also home to Redlands College, a co-educational independent school.

Commuting: Wellington Point railway station provides access to regular City train services to Brisbane and Cleveland. Transdev Queensland operates regular bus services, with a 24-hour weekend bus from Brisbane to Victoria Point.
