This coastal suburb has a multitude of parks and esplanades. Victoria Point is very popular for outdoor water activities, strolling along the foreshore, kayaking, paddleboarding or swimming. Thompson’s Beach is a very popular swimming spot when it’s warm and is ideal for paddle-boarding.

If you’re looking for an enjoyable café lifestyle then the Lakeside open-planned precinct, created by Eprapah Creek, has a multi-cultural array of dining opportunities, a modern local cinema and plenty of shops if you’re looking for some retail therapy.

From Victoria Point you can also escape to Coochiemudlo Island with its golden sandy beaches. Great for a day trip, a holiday or to live long term. A short 8-minute ferry ride from the jetty on Masters Avenue for passengers and there is also a vehicle barge service.

There are two major shopping areas on either side of Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, the Victoria Point Shopping Centre, and the Town Centre Victoria Point.

Schools: Victoria Point State High School and Victoria Point State School service this area, which is also home to St Rita’s Catholic Primary School and Faith Lutheran College.
Commuting: Cleveland is the nearest train station. Transdev Queensland operates regular bus services, with a 24-hour weekend bus from Brisbane to Victoria Point.
