Cleveland has the feel of a laid-back country town on the coast. The regions’ only public hospital is here as well as the main marine transport hub at Toondah Harbour which is the gateway to North Stradbroke Island with the Stradbroke Flyer passenger and vehicle ferries. Raby Bay is the regions’ 2nd canal estate, boasting many luxurious homes as well as a great array of harbourside restaurants.

In the heart of Cleveland there is a vibrant café culture with a boutique speciality shops and a range of supermarkets.

For art and culture lovers there is the Performing Arts Centre, Redland Art Gallery, the Redlands Museum and regular Sunday markets and Twilight markets.

Cleveland Point Lighthouse has picnic areas, amazing views and restaurants overlooking Moreton Bay.

Everything is within walking distance but for the energetic type there is always the Redlands Cycling and Multisport Club.

Schools: Cleveland District State High School, a member of the Council of International Schools, is highly regarded. Cleveland State School and Star of the Sea Primary School also service this community.

Commuting: This city can be accessed by road, rail, or sea. It is the end of the railway line. Transdev Queensland operates regular bus services, with a 24-hour weekend bus from Brisbane to Victoria Point.
